Founding types
The foundation focuses on promoting German-American study groups that deal with selected socio-economic issues which are of special significance for transatlantic relations and break new ground regarding content and/ or methods. The study groups are to be put together internationally (and, if possible, interdisciplinarily) and can be supported for a duration of up to two years, the volume of the proposal should not to exceed 20.000 EUR (or 28.000 USD). German and American scientists holding doctorates are eligible to apply.
