"Research stays for highly qualified foreign researchers in Germany, research stays abroad, post-doc fellowships: Alexander von Humboldt Professorships/International award for foreign researchers, who are part of an international top group of researchers, funding research in Germany (10 each year). The award money will be received for five years to finance the award winners research projects in Germany (The prize money rewards researchers in theoretical disciplines with 3.5 Million Euro and academics in experimental disciplines with 5 Million Euro). Humboldt research fellowships (each year up to 600) for foreign doctorate holders who are doing a long-running research stay (6 to 24 months) at a German university or research institution, the award winners will receive between 2.100 and 3.000 Euro per month plus travel grants, family allowances,mobility allowances etc. Humboldt research awards for foreign researchers (each year up to 150) honouring their scientific lifetime achievements, accompanied by the invitation to do a research project of their own choice at a German University or research institution up to twelve months. Award winners will receive up to 75.000 Euro; Programme ""Summer Research Fellowship for U.S. Scientists and Scholars"", allowing the participiants to spend nine to eighteen months in Germany within three years. Fellowship holders have to spend at least three sequential months in Germany. Post-doc fellowships for young researcher from the U.S., who are planning a long-running research stay (minimum 13 months maximum 24 months) in Germany; in cooperation with the National Research Council of the USA, realisation of the ""International Postdoctoral Research Link Program"", allowing young U.S. researchers, who are doctorate holders, to realise a research project first in germany and then in the USA. Georg Foster Fellowships (each year up to 60) for doctorate holders from developing and newly industrialized countries; 10 German Chancellor Fellowships for future executives from the USA, the Russian Federation and the People`s Republic of China; Feodor-Lynen Fellowship for post-docs and experienced researchers from Germany, who are conducting a research project of their own choice abroad at Institutions of former Humboldt visiting researchers; in connection with the Max Planck Foundation realisation of the Max Planck research award for international cooperation for cutting-edge German researchers and researchers from abroad (awarded with 75.000 Euro, each year); Humboldt research award organized on the basis of a mutual cooperation with foreign partner organisations, allowing German researchers to realise a research project of their own choice in the respective country. The foundation also manages the post-doc fellowships of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), promoting research stays of German researchers in Japan as well as the fellowships of the National Science Council of Taiwan (NSC). In addition there are more fellowships and awards- mostly limited in time. "
